First, ensure the mixing console (Yamaha LS9) is powered on. The power button is on the rear of the console, under a row of the cable connections. After the console is on, make sure the master fader (red) is at the "0" mark and the "on" LED on the channel button is illuminated.

You can connect microphones or instruments to channels 1-12 on the stage box near the drum kit. These inputs appear as 1-12 on the mixing console. Use the respective fader and on buttons to control the channel's volume.

If you're playing music from the PC, turn on the PC faders. Press ONE "on" button and move a single fader - they are linked as Left/Right and will move together!
